Let’s be clear – this isn’t a fancy restaurant with a romantic atmosphere, but what they offer is fresh, flavorful food with exceptional quality and spice levels. When I first dined here about eight months ago, I almost drove away, but thankfully I stayed. I discovered a spot where the focus is solely on the food, rather than the restaurant's décor. Excellent surprise. My husband surprised me with lunch at STL Halal based on the reviews here, my love of Indian food and the lack of frequency we are able to enjoy it. When we arrived I thought he was lost. This truly is a low key establishment. Having said that the moment we walked in the incredibly friendly owner immediately lit up the room. Everyone was beyond courteous and very warm and engaging. Then the food! Some of the just plain 'yummiest ' food i have had. I would travel the 1.5 hours from southern Illinois any weekend to regularly enjoy their fresh and tasty cuisine. I hope we have the opportunity to return soon.
Amazing customer service and delicious food! I had a dinner catered recently and everyone was raving over the food. We had one tray Pakistani style chicken biryani, goat Karahi, chicken Karahi, and rasmalai for desert. I ordered last minute, two daysbefore the dinner and ?uncle? was very kind in helping me set a menu of items that could be made on such short notice. *mostimportantly* my family doesn?t always enjoy goat Karahi due to a ?gamey? smell, but Stl Halal meats goat has no smell, so it wasdevoured in minutes!
When the owner comes to you, asks you to not eat something in a certain way (Owner had concerns with us taking some extra ribs in a plate, even though we were having them completely without wasting them) and still calls it buffet, charges 16 to 17 perperson is absolute rubbish. I have introduced nearly 30 people to that place and now due to this rubbish and arrogant behavior,I am not going there in my life time. I am deeply hurt by his rash comments.

Taste of Pakistan in far away Missouri. Ordered Chicken Dum Biryani, Seekh Kabab, Chicken roll. The taste was better than major indian restaurants in missouri. The service was good, the owner was friendly. The store has mini pakistani store as well. I would recommend for all desi eaters.
The Chicken Kabab at this restaurant is exceptional—the meat is fresh and delicious. It's one of the best places to eat in St. Louis, and many people are craving this type of food. We absolutely love the Chicken Kabab and the Chicken Tandoori pieces. Highly recommended!
This restaurant offers the best food in St. Louis! The biryani is delicious, the curries are fantastic, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. My friend and I go at least once a week. The food is absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. It’s a must-try! Trust me!
