A real traditional pub with lovely staff and the selection of drinks is far better than most chain pubs. With more than 160 years of history it's one of my favourite places for a drink.
The restaurant has a friendly staff and owners. The draft beer is excellent and the atmosphere is great. It has a true community-style pub feel.
A proper great old pub. Excellent beer and friendly owners are well worth the walk-up, the cobbled street. Just loved the place.
