A new guy was training and was receiving little to no oversight as he stumbled through making my drink. The other two women working weren't paying much attention to him except when he expressly said he had no idea what to do. On job training meanstraining received on site rather than watching videos or equivalent typically. What exactly do companies think dropping a kidinto a job sans training will accomplish? Zero retention? Ya probably. High turn over a problem? Check out the culture.
A new employee was training with minimal supervision and struggled to make my drink. The two other staff members barely noticed him, only intervening when he openly admitted he was unsure of what to do. On-the-job training should be hands-on, not just watching videos or similar approaches. What do companies expect when they put someone on the job without proper training? It’s no surprise employee retention suffers. If high turnover is a problem, the work culture might be the reason.
This is definitely my favorite Starbucks in Sacramento County! The staff are fantastic; they remember customers by name and know their drink orders perfectly. You can truly sense their genuine care for customers in the exceptional service they provide. The drinks are always skillfully made and taste delicious! The store is clean and well-maintained. It can get busy at times, so if you're in a rush, I recommend using mobile ordering.
Ryan is one of the best Starbucks employees I've ever met! They were incredibly friendly and had our coffees prepared in no time. My wife isn’t very familiar with ordering from spots like this, but she clearly explained how she wanted her drink, and they nailed it perfectly. By the time I drove from the ordering kiosk to the pickup window, her drink was already prepared. Their speed was genuinely impressive!
I had a wonderful experience at Starbucks. The woman at the counter was amazing and very helpful. The store was immaculate, and my order was ready surprisingly quickly—faster than at most other Starbucks locations.
