I come here often because it is the closest to my home. i had one incident where my coffee wasn’t right and i asked for it to be remade. Ever since then they remember me, and everytime the one manager is there i feel like they purposely mess up my order to upset me. i pay extra for caramel and they don’t put it on. i ask for my pink drink to be made with extra strawberry base, she’ll make it completely wrong on the tag and say that’s how they do it no other way. but at other locations they make my pink drink the right way. she’ll take my order. then i’ll ask the actual barista to put extra because i know they won’t and she’ll yell across the store that she already put it on the tag. it doesn...
The location is fantastic, and the drinks are always crafted perfectly, even when I make several modifications (my apologies for that!). The food consistently arrives hot, even when I place a preorder, and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, it often takes a while for my orders to be ready. While this isn't a major concern for me, it seems they simply don't have enough staff to meet the demand efficiently. There are local kids in Grosse Pointe who could potentially fill those roles, yet the restaurant remains understaffed. So, while it’s a great place to visit, the wait times for service are definitely impacted by the staff shortage—this is really the only drawback.
I ordered my drinks through the mobile app 20 minutes ahead of time and waited an additional 30 minutes, but they still hadn't arrived. When I kindly asked about my order, the barista rudely replied that they had no idea what was going on and then walked away in frustration. It's obvious that they are overwhelmed and disorganized. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Even though I live only five minutes away from this Starbucks, I won't be coming back. I ended up leaving without my drinks because I had other commitments and couldn't wait any longer. The service was meant for takeout.
This Starbucks is great! They can be busy, but they are very kind and you just have to be patient some days. If you want your coffee in two minutes, go to McDonald’s. The new manager is really friendly and goes out of his way to get to know his customers. They also make your drink super well every time and are very consistent. Great job Starbucks! I’ve been waiting for 35 minutes for two coffees, and they completely forgot my order. It’s really disappointing. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
