The venue is pleasant, but unfortunately, the air conditioning was not functioning, making it quite hot inside despite the low number of patrons. I found the drinks to be overpriced, costing eight dollars for a small plastic cup. Additionally, the security staff shone a bright flashlight at me and followed me outside when I tried to take my water with me. He insisted that I throw it away, which would have been helpful to know beforehand. I didn’t appreciate being followed; a simple heads-up would have sufficed.
I attended the Nirvani show at the State Theater, and it was fantastic! The venue itself is decent, but I couldn't give it a full 5 stars due to the heat and slow service. Unfortunately, there’s no air conditioning, but they made an effort to cool things down with several fans, which felt ineffective. Additionally, the food and drink service was surprisingly slow. I would suggest dining elsewhere before coming to enjoy a show here.
We enjoyed the comedy show and the food was delicious, but unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. Additionally, the place had a foul smell that was quite unpleasant. It's surprising how the lack of hygiene was so noticeable in this theater. The rotten odor was overwhelming, and I strongly suggest using air fresheners, as it made our experience quite uncomfortable.
On a positive note, the servers work diligently to ensure everyone is taken care of, and the bar service is always quick, with friendly and personable bartenders. Prices for beer and food are quite reasonable as well. This venue has quickly become one of our favorite spots to enjoy live music and interact with the performers. We will definitely be returning! Great venue for live entertainment. Good seating throughout and attentive bar staff. The food looked and smelled good, but we did not order any on our visit.
