The food here is bursting with flavor, and I appreciate the honesty of this restaurant. The chef is truly skilled. I love how the coconut milk enhances the rice and peas. The oxtail is fantastic, and the gravy is the standout feature. When I arrived craving oxtail, the chef kindly informed me that it wasn't quite ready yet. He offered to give me some that was partially cooked, but he made it clear it wouldn't be at the right tenderness. That kind of honesty is commendable! He could have easily served it, leaving me to struggle with the meat later, but he didn’t. Instead, I opted for the jerk chicken, which was fantastic! Absolutely incredible service. Steady is hilarious and kind, ready to brighten your day. Usually when they’re too awesome I get skeptical about the food so when I bit into juicy, very recently grilled j chicken and delicious rice w/ oxtail gravy I couldn’t stop eating. Ended up having too much and didn’t have any leftovers which I usually do for other J spots. Will def be returning !

I tried their j chicken, rice, and coleslaw. The flavors were very bland and did not taste anything like the other j chicken I’ve eaten. This was more on the sweeter side.Overall, there are definitely better Jamaican restaurants around with fairer prices and portions.
