This place I would not recommend to anyone for many reasons. Firstly the food. It was over cooked and tried to be revived with some cheap sauce that was squirted all over. The steak I ordered was a T bone and If wasn't that. It was the totally front end and more like the rib part where it joins so you know they cut these corners to save money and be unfair. Again accepted if the rest was ok. But it doesn't end here. The meat was so hard and old. Definitely a no go for me. The staff also need to get out abit more. Made part of our group feel very uncomfortable. I don't want to say anymore. Avoid if possible. So many other nice places on this road. Some nice Turkish Grills, Nice Asian restaura...
The most confusing part was when I asked for fried onions on top for an extra £1, only to be told they had run out. This raised some alarm bells for me. When the food arrived, I was surprised to find that the salad that came with it was full of raw, uncooked onions. It seemed like they couldn't be bothered to actually fry them. Overall, I would rate the restaurant a 3 out of 5. The staff was average, but I was disappointed that they didn't serve the food on our table and instead left it on the counter. The experience was just average, to say the least.
I have walked past this place many a time assuming it ibget another narborough road kebab/charcoal place and am I glad I stopped to try it. Beautiful menu with fish, steaks, burgers, kebabs and sizzlers. I had the smokey fish special, picture below and substituted chips for rice. My partner had a chicken platter which was also fab and was kind of indo-chinese in taste. Fab food and fab service, definitely be visiting again.
I really like my steak have tried many famous places, but have to admit this was the best cooked steak ever, not to mention best value too. Just tell them you want the melt in your mouth 'biscuit ' steak, you won 't go wrong. They have a wide variety of fresh steaks to choose from depending on your personal preference or just tell them how you like it and they will advise. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I went to this restaurant for lunch with my husband. He ordered the lamb chops and I decided on the mixed grill. The food was outstanding, prepared fresh by the welcoming staff. The dishes were served piping hot and the portion sizes were generous, but delicious. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the hygiene rating was 5 stars, and the restaurant was spotless.
Looked for somewhere to rest our legs and fill our stomach prior to a visit to the king power stadium. this place is 10-15 mins walk and certainly fits the bill. no frills surroundings but good variety on menu of various meats and good portions and quality. Reasonably priced also would definitely visit again for a pre match bite
The food is so clean, so tasty and full of flavours. Best steakhouse in Leicester. Good price, brilliant service, friendly staff. Ideal for both eating in or take away. Also best lamb chops I have had!!
