If I could get this restaurant 0 review I certainly would. Not from this area. Stopped in to order food asked the lady for some extra crackers she threw a fit. I asked if I could speak to a manager I just wanted two things of extra crackers she went back and young man came out screaming and cussing at us because we asked for two things of crackers. Employee dropping the F bomb in front of my very young grandson and then threaten to call the cops on us because we were just waiting for the crackers. The plates were dirty and likely not washed properly. The shake cups were marked with fingernail scratches; one even had the name "Bailey" carved into it, and another had something hanging off it. All the cups were sticky from the shake that had dripped down the sides. While we were there, a manager had a loud and aggressive argument with a customer witnessing the chaotic scene. It felt uncomfortable, like being a child caught in parents' screaming match during dinner. The overall cleanliness of the place was appalling: the floors were dirty, the trash cans were overflowing, most tables were unclean, and the restrooms were sticky and had an unpleasant odor. they only get one star because I cannot give a half a star. showed up ordered our food on digital waiter. we then went to pay for our food we had two gift cards for $10 a piece. we used the first gift card and it took $10 off our order went to use the second one and it told us to order our food at the counter,we then proceeded to the counter where we tried to communicate with the employees who looked at us turned away and ignored us.we then left the store got in our truck drove through the drive-thru has to speak to a manager where we were told that they don't give refunds we'll have to see a manager tomorrow about our food, infuriated we left and went
I visited the dining room now that it has reopened, and it feels more like an upgraded cafeteria. You place your order at a kiosk and wait for your name to be called to pick it up from a tablet. The food is still decent, but a lot of what I loved is no longer available, including the spicy salt—unless you want to buy a whole bottle. Honestly, I wish they'd just close this one already so I don't feel like I should patronize it. When you actually receive the food, it's good. But the service is miserable. We're 0/5 on spoons of the most recent chili orders and 2/5 for crackers. Don't waste your money on a shake, as the bottom third and top third has consistently been whipped cream. Long-awaited steakburgers and general disappointment here.
I stopped at the East Peoria dive thru ... yes during the lunch hour, yes on the wait.Thing is, I ordered 2 cheeseburgers with mustard and ketchup, but got 2 with m/k, pickles and onions.Worse, both buns were right out of the fridge, just outright cold.So if ya can't produce 2 simple cheeseburgers to order, with some semblance of hot, or even warm, why are you open?Last visit by me for sure.
I wish negative stars were an option.They got both of our orders wrong. My friend was missing his fries completely and they put nothing but cheese on my garlic burger. Also, there was a partially smoked cigarette ON THE COUNTER NEXT TO THE GRILL. Took way too long, but I think that is just steak n shake nowadays.

I’ve heard really bad things about this location as of late, and wanted to try it out for myself. Went at 2pm on Thursday and food came out fast, hot, and delicious!
