Another lovely steak dinner at Steak&Stamp! We arrived on time parking IS a bit tricky to be honest but worth it! but we arrived on time regardless of parking difficulties but our table wasn’t quite ready so we were shown to their little pub, it didn’t look too promising as we walked in, but turned out wonderful! A table of older gentlemen playing guitars and singing Christmas carrols, with bell ringing and whistles it was fabulous totally loved it! We were called to eat after about ten minutes.. I would've happily stayed longer soaking up the happy atmosphere of the pub! Five of us were eating and so we were seated in one of the ”summer-houses” outside. My husband and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant during the middle of the week to celebrate one of his achievements. We arrived early and were seated promptly. We shared the steak platter, which came with chips, onion rings, garlic bread, peppercorn sauce, and garlic butter sauce. It was absolutely delicious! The food arrived at our table in about 10 minutes, and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is cozy and charming, and although it's small in the front, I believe they have additional seating out the back. There is also free parking nearby. This restaurant is truly one of a kind. It was beyond amazing! After 5 years of planning and multiple disruptions due to covid, we finally managed to have our friends from Oxford visit and secure a table. We started off with drinks at the cozy Penybont Arms before heading to the restaurant. The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxed, it felt like being at home. Absolutely love this place, a real hidden jewel in Pencoed. Perfect steak, melt in your mouth, quality you'd expect from the finest grill houses. Service is great, staff are attentive and friendly. Always look forward to coming here, never ever disappointed. We were fortunate to have Steak and Stamp located so close by for special dining occasions. It is a wonderful place to enjoy some quality time. We tried the special aged steak, which you can order by the ounce, and they were delicious, tender, and flavorful. The side dishes were also good, and the staff was very helpful.
