A piece of Italy in Saarbrücken! For us, Angelos vis Napoli is not just a restaurant, but a place where you feel completely comfortable. Even late at night, guests are warmly welcomed and served excellently. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft. Allerdings ist der Chef wirklich sehr unfreundlich und respektlos. Wir hatten einen Tisch für 9 Personen reserviert. Ein Teil der Gruppe war bereits drinnen. Als wir hereinkamen, wollten wir an der Schlange vorbeigehen, um zu den anderen, die schon dort waren, zu stoßen. Der Chef hat uns dann, ohne Übertreibung, angebrüllt, dass wir uns hinten anstellen sollen. Wir erklärten ihm, dass ein Teil der Gruppe schon da war. Doch er brüllte nur weiter, dass wir warten und ihm das egal sei. Auf die Bitte, uns nicht anzuschreien, gab es keine Reaktion. So musste unsere Freundin, die im achten Monat schwanger ist, 15 Minuten draußen in der Kälte warten. Eine Entschuldig...
I've enjoyed eating at Angelos for years. On Valentine's Day you once again created a lovely atmosphere and, as always, the food was nothing to complain about. The only thing that bothered me a bit is that you get three slices of bread even though there are two of you, but since it was Valentine's Day I thought it was really sweet to share the bread. Otherwise, I find odd numbers for an even number of people somehow rude. Otherwise the service was good.
Food, especially the pizza, is delicious. However, the boss is rude, passive aggressive, has a disgusting undertone and is constantly stressed. It was very busy and we had made a special reservation. Ich gehe oft zu Angelo, weil ich die authentische italienische Küche liebe. Die Steinofenpizza ist ein Highlight – knusprig, aromatisch und perfekt zubereitet. Der freundliche Service und das gemütliche Ambiente machen jeden Besuch zu einem Vergnügen. Absolut empfehlenswert!
The restaurant is nice, service was nice. Pizza tasted ok, but The salad with beef strips was absolutely bad, only a few pieces of beef, the vinaigrette was nothing, the price and quality ratio didn't fit at all, way too expensive. Unfortunately I'm disappointed.
