$26 Fra Diavolo • scallops, shrimp, mussels lobster cream sauce over a bed of fettucine noodles 0 STARS I thought this would be in a white cream sauce, the fettuccine was half assed smothered in a yellow Kraft Mac Cheese sauce the plating was appalling for a seemingly nicer restaurant for Forest Lake, Mn. Despite the horrendous plating unappetizing food colored cheddar-y sauce, I twiddled my fork around noticed a RAW SHRIMP in the dish one closed mussel (which means it was dead prior to cooking if they even use fresh mussels). Prior to seeing this raw shrimp, I tried the pasta it tasted off, sulfuric very fishy. Rotten fishy. I flagged our server Grace down she sent it back to the kitchen. B...
Up until recently, I refused to visit Stella’s based on previous experiences. But I have found that a new owner and chef have made this place… Absolutely wonderful! First visit back we ordered the Ruben… If you like Ruben, you absolutely must try theirs!! It’s tender and HUGE. Then the Salmon plate.. so good! Just look… And most recently the Chateau Briand Oscar minus the lump crab as I have allergies OMG! I am very picky when it comes to filet mignon… this was prepared perfectly and spoon tender. So impressed! Service is also MUCH better… All of the staff are exceptional people who genuinely care if you enjoy your visit. Thank you!
We were greeted by the Hostess with a smile. She seated us in the bar as we were celebrating my Daughter’s birthday. Jackie was our server, greeted us right away took our drink order. Drinks were fantastic. She took care of us very well..always had a smile was very pleasant. The girls ordered champagne chicken my Husband had a steak..food was outstanding…hats off to the Chef! Had the carrot cake for dessert..it was delicious! Can’t go wrong at Stella’s on 97..great drinks, food service. Thank you!
We decided to try a new lunch place an hour away, this is the one I chose. Warm and cozy, everyone was very friendly. The food was lovely. The Philly far exceeded expectations, the steak was great and even the green beans were perfect. We topped it off by sharing their apple/pear crisp, definitely a shareable portion. A very nice treat! We've added this to our repeat list, can't wait to try more of their menu.

Another fantastic experience at Stella’s. If you have kids in college, you know nights out with dad are precious. It’s a reason to hit the best places. We had another fantastic experience tonight. I had the swordfish and she had the Man Salad with beef and shrimp. The warm olives were the perfect appetizer. Thank you!

Food is AMAZING! The steak dinner, steak medallions, and more. All amazing. Steak is marinated amazingly and the red wine sauce is so good. Even the classic side salad was top notch. Not a single bad thing I can say about this restaurant!
Service was on point. Very attentive and informative. The food was phenomenal. I highly suggest the brussel sprouts appetizer. I dont think you could go wrong with whatever you choose.

As a side note, make sure to try the birria tacos—they're amazing! I really think they should keep those on the menu year-round.
