As a Black American woman, I faced an unpleasant experience when a white employee refused to open the door for me to access the slot machines. We all bleed the same color—red. I believe it's important to raise awareness about this issue, so I'm letting Channel Seven news know about what happened. This establishment should be open to all customers, regardless of their background. Discrimination based on race has no place in any business. When I spoke to the manager at Stella's, she claimed there was nothing she could do about the racism I encountered. It's disheartening to see such a lack of accountability.
