I had luck getting a parking space outside the building, but noticed that it was closed. through the window outside I saw through this bakery their trade for the day, so there was a jump. ordered a flat white to go with a croissant with ham cheese. it did not take long to have my orders ready, so I took a place in common area to enjoy my brekkie. the first swallow of the merlo flat white deserved my appreciation. next surprise was the beautiful terrace series. it was a traditional French tasty bite that gave my palate absolutely satisfied. it did my day.

the hotel is located in the emporium south bank, the place was mainly for the start, so no seating area. I came here on a weekday afternoon, but the place was quite busy, therefore the slow service./ the bakery offered a large selection of baked goods, ranging from the evening rolls and the white bread varieties to croissants and cakes (both slices and whole). I had the chocolate croissant; the baked was great and fluffy. I have also ordered the caramel tarte, which, in my opinion, was too sweet and too dense in texture.Would be back to order the panes and the Portuguese tart the next time!

Stone Artisan Bakers Southpoint offers a diverse selection of artisan breads, headlined by the Pain de Campagne, a French-style 'country loaf' or 'French sourdough' which is a beautifully crafted bread. I had one sliced and we enjoyed some lovely toast this morning with breakfast.
Stone Artisan are also purveyors of gourmet pies, decadent baked goods, stunning pastries and Merlo Coffee.
Wonderful that one of the best bakeries in South East Queensland has now come to Southpoint at Southbank.
Great quality bread and cakes. Cakes, pies and tarts taste homemade. Not too sweet and proper ingredients (apple pie has real pie apple). Bread is the light sour variety and has old fashioned look taste and consistency. Authentic and rare.
Noticed the Merlo coffee sign just had to grab a takeaway double shot to clear my jeg lag. Coffee was a well received relaxant I sipped it with relish. Accompanied by a rather large ring doughnut, which was a tad dry-still went down well
eating cut and gone over price, service is painfully slow, coffee hit and miss, depending on who does it. the personal is randomly rudely very disappointed, would not recommend it. other reviews must be friends. go next door

this bakery caught my attention when I went to the one. guess what? I was so proud of myself that I decided to try her croissant. cheap price, good quality and friendly staff
