"The chef actually bakes the sweet treats herself, they are really delicious and worth it! Service pretty good!"

Whilst awaiting our steak sandwiches, I got antsy for time as we had a meeting at 2pm. After being assured our burgers weren't far off (not delayed AT ALL - I just didn't leave enough time) I looked down through the glass windows into the kitchen to see the kitchen girl/assistant licking her fingers and sucking her thumb as she prepped burgers. I then saw her hand those meals to the chef. Now; she might have been making her own lunch or packing a goody bag for herself? None the less; I was repulsed. It's image. Inference! Who does that AT ALL when you work in a kitchen making other people's food? The point is not whose burgers they were, it is that a staff member felt it cool to lick fingers...

Came here early on a wet Saturday morning and there was no shortage on customers. Ordered the almond croissant with the coffee. The coffee came very quickly and was well made with the right temperature. Croissant was nice but probably not "out of this world". Bought a loaf of olive bread and some brownies into work. The brownies were a huge hit!. Love the fact they offer to slice the bread for you and everything is reasonably priced. It's a little hard to compare the sourdough since I don't routinely eat the olive version and I have yet to try the plain sourdough. From the reviews, it seems to be their most popular and a little pricier than their regular sourdough. Personally, I didn't love...

We came past this morning as a group of 3. My coffee was absolutely great, and apparently so was my niece's chai latte. We sat outside, all staff were great and helpful. We bought sourdough baguette and loaves to takeaway, chunky meat pies, and a few lamb, rosemary and potato pies, plus GF banana bread. All of these were excellent, and my coeliac daughter rated her GF banana bread as 8.5/10... which for her rating system is close to heaven. Really very high quality food. Pies were absolutely fabulous quality..... best I've had in many, many years. Wish I could score 4.5/5.... indeed for a cafe/bakery experience it should almost score full marks. Just grand!

Made 2 trips to try this busy cafe and first time was a nice coffee but small toast was expensive but second time I got a spot near the kitchen to see it in action but seeing the chef handle the scrambled eggs of a customer with bare fingers just wasn't the norm . Asked for coffee in take away extra hot ( as couldn't get a seat at the time ) and got a warm one in a mug so had to stay . Pastries look nice but toast servings should be a larger cut not the ends of the loaf . Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

This used to be my local go to for a coffee but lately the lack of consistency in what is being served up has made me go elsewhere. The almond croissant that I purchased a few days back was overcooked and very dry inside. It obviously depends on who is baking on a particular day and also who is manning the coffee machine. Too many other choices in the area to risk wasting money on a bad coffee and over baked croissant.

On the way to work I dropped by what used to be my favourite morning coffee spot. Whilst waiting for my coffee the owner walks in and starts throwing what I could only describe as a tantrum with his staff. I have no idea what the issue was but his behaviour was completely unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I now have a new morning coffee spot. If I was working there I'd be looking for a new job!

we regularly buy our bread here and we have found the variety to be great. Each type of bread is unique and different - try the olive bread - yum, once you are there, all the goodies are hard to resist and you might end up going home with a bag full! beats preparing lunch!.

Stoneground was such a fabulous addition when it first opened. I've ignored a few things but the final straw came about three weeks ago when the display food had flies crawling all over it. I won't be back. Ever. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
