A few months ago, I picked up a DoorDash order from Sub City for a customer, and my car smelled so amazing that I had to go back myself. I honestly can’t find the right words to describe how incredible the food is. I ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp bowl with potatoes instead of rice, which was a great choice. The service was excellent—staff were laid-back and friendly. The portion size was generous for the price. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The potatoes were buttery, and the meats were packed with rich flavors. They top the dish with a blend of sauces both on and under the meats and veggies, creating an incredible mix of Cleveland, Philly, and city-style flavors....
I was quite disappointed with my recent order from Sub City. The fries were small, burnt pieces and there were two different types included. It looked like they forgot to make my sandwich entirely. There was hardly any meat in the sub, and the bread resembled a hot dog bun rather than the delicious roll I remembered from my last visit. Sub City is supposed to specialize in subs, but that wasn't my experience this time. I won’t be returning to their Lakeshore location again.
Terrible food. The veggie rolls were mostly dough with just a few red and green peppers, missing all the other ingredients. The quesadilla was burnt and came without any side sauce. It’s disappointing because this place has potential, but they hire lazy staff who seem to be just waiting to clock out. No passion, poor customer service—just awful overall. I wish I could give it zero stars.
Has to be one of the best veggie subs I've had. Not just hot bread with cold veggies on it, they fully cook the veggies, super flavorful and a generous amount on the sub too. Bread is fresh. Staff was kind as well.Vegetarian options: They have a separate vegetarian menu with several solid options to choose from, will come back to try more options.

Fantastic chicken Philly! The fries are also great very well seasoned. I drove past this place for the last year and finally tried it, it's fantastic. Staff was also helpful with the menu and any questions. I'll be back sooner rather than later!
Unfortunately, my order was delayed by an hour, forcing me to wait at the restaurant for that entire time. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and unappealing. I believe it would have tasted much better if it had arrived on time.
I visited Sub City today for takeout for the first time, and the subs we ordered were fantastic. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area! The staff was friendly and attentive.
The food here is truly excellent. It's the best in the area as far as I'm concerned. I always opt for the wings, loaded fries, or potatoes.

Everything about this place is awful! Avoid eating here unless you're absolutely starving!
I truly enjoy Sub City and definitely plan to order from them again.
