I had a disappointing experience at this Subway location. They were out of my preferred bread, and then I was told there was a turkey shortage, which meant my youngest couldn't get her favorite turkey provolone sandwich. We had to substitute it with chicken, and she's quite picky about her food. The bread was dry, and the sandwiches were just not well made. Overall, I left feeling very dissatisfied. To make matters worse, the coupons I had weren't working. In my previous job at Safeway Deli in Martinez, we took pride in our customer service and the quality of our menu items, which kept our customers coming back.
The server on Thursday, 9/23, prioritized customers who called in their orders over those waiting in line. I waited in line for half an hour while she served only two customers. Then, more people came in, and she began preparing their orders before attending to others who had been waiting longer. She should have informed customers that she couldn’t handle call-ins alone. This was by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced at Subway.
Absolutely unacceptable! Subway gets my order wrong every single time! They desperately need new management and staff because this location is just terrible. I only choose to come here because it's so close to my home. I tried the Subway in Hercules once, and they were fantastic! Pinole needs to step it up! I'm spending my hard-earned money on this! I'm extremely frustrated!
Customer service was terrible. Another customer was allowed to cut the line to pick up their online order while I waited patiently for mine. I will never return to this location. In fact, I'm done with Subway altogether until they reconsider their choice of ads that I find unpatriotic. Sincerely, a former loyal customer. P.S. Jersey Mike’s, here I come.
