The staff at this location are incredibly friendly and attentive, and they're quick with their sandwich-making skills. While the deal doesn’t include a drink, chips, or cookies, you can add them for around $2. They also offer personal pizzas for $5 if you're in the mood for something other than a sub. Choosing a salad bowl instead of a sub can save you about 250 calories, but I enjoy having some bread now and then. This Subway is conveniently located near Meijer and Marshalls, and right next to Wingstop!
The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The staff managed the catering order preparation efficiently, even with customers walking around. They made the subs quickly, and the communication among the team was impressive, especially considering one staff member was new. She received thoughtful responses to her questions, and I was pleased to see how well she was treated in a fast-paced environment. The place is clean, and I definitely plan to return.
The service was absolutely unacceptable. Ebonee and Damon, who seem to be related, share the same unprofessional attitude. At their age, I expected better behavior from both of them. Ebonee made unpleasant faces at my sandwich choices, as did Damon. Their rude tones conveyed a clear lack of concern for their jobs. If they don't enjoy working with people and food, perhaps they should seek employment elsewhere.
I really enjoy this Subway location! It's the one near Meijer and Applebee's on 8 Mile Road. It’s always clean and rarely busy. The staff is incredibly friendly!
