I put in an order over UberEats , I ordered a sub called the monster, its described as a hot sandwich with steak with crispy bacon. When my food got here it was cold. The steak was never heated up , nor was the bacon. All cold. I then call the store to figure out if it's common practice to serve cold steak and bacon and then the woman that answered the phone says I didn't ask for it to be heated. Which is true I didn't want it toasted but surely didn't think I'd have to specifically type I wanted the steak and bacon heated because again, the description of the sandwich stated the meats were hot. My ordeal began when I requested spinach for my sandwich. To my surprise, the woman behind the counter only placed two tiny leaves on it. I politely asked for more, assuming it was just a mistake. However, she casually added just two more leaves, as if she were doing me a favor. It was an incredibly inadequate amount, making my sandwich feel bland and unappealing.
At that point, I should have just walked out and found somewhere else to eat. The lack of effort and care in making a simple sandwich was disheartening. I'm not sure if this was due to poor management or just a server who didn’t care about customer satisfaction.
Regardless, I have decided never to return to this Subway location....
On September 7, 2023, I visited the restaurant intending to order a sub. When I requested to split my payment, a Middle Eastern man shook his head and refused, saying he didn’t know how to do it; this was around 4:30 PM. Fast forward to September 8, 2023, I returned and was attended to by a young Middle Eastern girl who completely ignored me. I went in the other day and my experience was pretty good. the staff was nice, they greeted me at the door and was very respectful. As far as the food they have a short selection of different breads. I would love to have the multigrain or honey oat but have yet to see them in the store. The best thing in this store in my opinion are the oatmeal raisin cookies. They are made perfect everyday the perfect combination of soft and crunchy and I make it my mission to stop by on my way to work. I called the Severn MD location to ask if they took EBT. I get there, have my subs made..get to the reg to ring up and I'm told they don't take ebt. I let the ladies know that I called about 45 mins prior to my visit and was told something different. Then of course they all stared at me like a deer in headlights. I walked 20 mins there, crossed a major rd..all with a baby in a stroller. I suggested that everyone knows the rules of the store before answering questions, or ask someone else if not sure. Days later and I'm still salty lol.
