Having read the reviews here in TripAdvisor that Sulla Baia is a good Italian restaurant in Batemans Bay area, and wanting to eat Italian Saturday night (Easter long weekend), we went to Sulla Baia for dinner. A no frills restaurant, we were welcomed by very warmly by the wait staff (most probably the owner herself) and given a seat promptly. We ordered their Pizza (Sicilian and Mexican half-n-half), some Pasta (Chicken & Pesto and the Prawns) and bbq buffalo wings. If you enjoy authentic Italian cuisine at affordable prices, this restaurant is the perfect choice for you. The pasta is made by hand and comes with a selection of tasty sauces. The pizza is exceptional, probably the best I've ever had. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. You can even get 3 pizzas or pasta dishes for just $50 to go. I have no idea how they manage to offer such great value! The service is also excellent, with friendly waitstaff. The restaurant only has seating for 20 people, so be sure to make a reservation in advance to secure a table.
Me and a few friends went to look for something to eat and stumbled across Sulla Baia. Very welcoming waitress and great service. We ordered mussels and they were incredible. Great flavours and lovely fresh bruschetta to dip in the sauce. We all ordered pasta. The chef gave us some complimentary garlic bread to dip into the sauce. Pasta was so good, prawns cooked to perfection. We then had some gelato which was very good, recommended hazelnut. After our meal we had a great chat with the chef and he's a top guy, this place is a hidden gem!
Went with a group of 5. The atmosphere is casual and very relaxed. BYO and the lady that served is us so friendly and makes you leave with a smile. The cheesy garlic bread is great, Oysters were amazing and the pizza was sooooooo good.After a trip to Italy many years ago, I have been waiting for a place to do authentic Italian pizza with simple but quality, delicious ingredients. I think I've found it!We all enjoyed it so much we wanted to get it again the following night. Looking forward to trying the pastas next time too.

This place is the real deal! The kitchen is open and the pizza and pasta are absolutely amazing. The dishes are crafted with delicious and fresh ingredients, expertly combined by a talented chef. A group from Canberra at the table behind us was impressed with their food, as were the guests at the table in front of us. If this restaurant was in Melbourne or even Rome, there would be lines out the door. I didn't even know this place existed, so take my advice and give it a try - you won't be disappointed!
Wow - what a surprise this place is! Some of the best pizza I've had in years. And handmade pasta with a delicious marinara sauce with just a good amount of chilli. An impromptu salad with buffalo mozzarella atop crisp leaf and tasty morsels sealed the deal for us. Don't be put off by the low key premises - the food is worth every cent and the staff are friendly in this little gem of a place. We will be back soon.
We have ordered pizza from this restaurant multiple times and always return for more. Blake offers a great selection to choose from, but our favorites are the Mexican (hot and spicy) and Supreme pizzas. The restaurant is always impeccably clean, a true testament to Blake and his staff.
Just had the 'chefs pizza of the night " all I can say is 10 out of 10 !!Great taste, actual mushrooms that melted in your mouth!!!Spend a little extra and get an amazing experience of food, you will thank yourself!Thank goddess real "pizza" is alive !

This Italian restaurant was Amazing!!!! The best Pizza & Pasta we have had in years... it's very Authentic & cooked with Love... We will be back for sure...
