The food here has to be made from some of the best quality ingredients you can find. I have a fresh spring rolls obsession and have never, in all my years of eating fresh spring rolls, had spring rolls as good as the ones the make here. I mean wow! Their menu features an expansive wine/alcoholic beverage selections but I got the Thai iced tea. For my meal, I went with the drunken noodles and when it came out, I saw the slice or orange and thought “citrus with drunken noodles? Interesting”. Much to my surprise the orange does a great job of brightening up the dish. I’m excited to visit again so I can try more of their offerings. Oh service is superb, much like the food. Finally got to try Sun yesterday, and I can absolutely see why everyone loves it. Pad ga pow was amazing. I ordered hot because most places dont take the word hot seriously, well Sun does. Had a couple different sushi rolls, Grand Avocado being the best. And I have to mention the staff there. They were SO friendly and genuinely seemed to appreciate our business. I rarely review things, but this place is awesome.
Today I visited Sun Cuisines for the 1st time and I am upset I have never been here before. Kevin and Stephanie are amazing owners and the food is beyond delicious. If you haven't made your way down Niagara St., I highly highly recommend exploring Buffalo and checking it out. They are opening a 2nd location and they will do great things!!
From the tom yum soup to the various sushi, and steamed dumplings; Sun was absolutely amazing! I wasn't too sure how I would feel about black rice, but now I know that it compliments the fish so well. I can't imagine ever eating another piece of white rice sushi. I love their black rice sushi, the pumpkin curry, and the mango black rice dessert. One of my favorite restaurants. Good service and excellent food. The black rice is truly their specialty. Once they open up in Williamsville, I will be there a lot more!
I was looking for a new dinner spot tonight and came across this place on Yelp. My son and I decided to give it a try and we were impressed by the pleasant ambiance. The cozy atmosphere made for a comfortable dining experience.
I went back to this restaurant again! I ordered the crispy duck and it was delicious. I accidentally left my credit card behind, but when I called them the next day, they had it waiting for me...

Delicious food and excellent service. We came for lunch and ate way too much. We’ll definitely keep Sun Cuisine on our list of local go-too restaurants.
