I spent most of the morning and afternoon at Sunnyside Grill while waiting for my car to be repaired. The staff were very friendly and didn’t mind that I set up my laptop at a table to work. For breakfast, I enjoyed French toast and coffee, and for lunch, I had a corned beef on rye sandwich. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and generously portioned, and the prices were very reasonable. While the coffee wasn’t quite to my taste—I prefer a milder brew—the overall experience was great. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and filled with natural light from numerous windows. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. Support local businesses!
The food was exceptional! The chef truly demonstrates impressive talent. Thank you! Our group of eight enjoyed ourselves, though the timing of our meals was a bit inconsistent. For instance, the gravy arrived about 15 minutes before the fries, so it cooled and formed a skin by the time the fries came. Additionally, three of us were served much earlier than the rest, finishing our meals while others were still waiting. Despite this, it was an enjoyable experience with great company and delicious food. Given the staffing challenges due to the pandemic, I understand the delays. I would definitely consider returning to this location.
