I love this place! I personally read the worst reviews before the review a place just to see what people say. My mother has always told me that it takes all kinds of people to do the job.... some of these people have no taste buds. Sausage egg and cheese. Amazing. Gritts? Some of the best I had. Your Johns Island location has a herbal turkey sandwich.... the bread is homemade and incredible. They had a breakfast pizza at their city center (now closed), which I got on the regular. Maybe they bring it back? The one with the heat and the sausage engraving?? Wink* Wink*
We had breakfast here to start a full day of fun. We hoped our breakfast would get us through to an early dinner. I had an omelet and my husband eggs, bacon and toast. Our food was so good. My husband said the best eggs ever and my open omelet was one of the best as well. The service was top notch and our waitress really friendly. We made it through a full day of sightseeing without getting hungry! We will definitely eat breakfast here again.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The hosts were incredible and provided excellent southern hospitality. The waiter mentioned a price increase on the menu but failed to note that the portion sizes had nearly doubled. Despite the $2 increase, the value was exceptional. The food was outstanding, and I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. This will definitely be my go-to breakfast spot from now on.
Been to the Johns Island location a couple of times now, and the MP location is every bit as good. The people, the food, the coffee, everything is always amazing. I recommend them to anyone that asks about good brunch in CHS. Not only are they one of the best in the area, but they?re also super affordable. The mimosa I had was strong, not watered down oj.

My husband and I are holidays in Charleston and had breakfast in the Sunrise Bistro three mornings. The food is excellent and the service is excellent. They are greeted at the door with a smiling friendly face and a large cup of coffee. Great way to start your day!

Delicious food, quality coffee for a good price, locally obsessed, incredible shrimps and grits.. all shrimps, lumps and meat.
