Walked in at 9:40, realized this location on Landsdowne must not do early bird pricing, no big deal. No greeting at the door, just a sign that says seat yourself, no big deal.Initial table visit and coffee came quick. Ordered right away, so far not bad. Waitress kept doing her rounds and I noticed my food sitting in the window waiting to be served for about five minutes before she went to grab it. Everything on the plate was only slightly warm, potatoes almost room temp. Toast was chewy as it had totally cooled. Stopped here for brunch for the first time and overall enjoyed the experience.The service was great. We were quick to be seated and the waitress was friendly.The club sandwich was delicious and the portion was good. Be sure to add mayo to the sandwich.The burger was also good and juicy.We also got chocolate chip pancakes. They were decent. My first visit. Everything was great! Fast, friendly service. Lots of options on the breakfast menu with many ways to customize your order. Something for everyone. Food was hot, hashbrowns were from scratch and the waffle was wonderful! Lots of food, bottomless hot coffee, great stop for breakfast.Dietary restrictions: Easily customizable options. The steaks were terrible; they had a stale taste with a hint of vinegar. Our waitress told us that the HP sauce has been on backorder for months, but she only mentioned it after the steaks were served. Additionally, the potatoes were cold and greasy. Went together for breakfast with my family. Had eggs Benedict over medium. First bite of the meal there was a wad of paper towel in the hollandaise sauce. Repulsed. Eggs improperly cooked. Won't be back.
While in the area, I stoped here for breakfast. It was unremarkable and coffee was not great. Mediocrity is what it is. I won't be going out of the way to come back.
It was just okay. Be prepared to spend over $40 for a greasy breakfast with small, cold eggs and soggy toast. However, the service was quick and friendly.
