Surfside Fish and Chips

Surfside Fish & Chips is in their new location, as the Comox Waterfront Marina Park construction is almost complete.The best access is on the Park's east side (parking lot closest to the commercial dock and pedestrian boardwalk.)There's now a covered dining area under the 'SAIL' Pavilions, and plenty of new Marina-view benches.They serve out of a vintage refurbished BOLER trailer that's colourful and clean.Good prices (see pic of their menu board) and the service is warm and friendly.We enjoyed FRESH HALIBUT FISH, crispy Fries, and a sliced Hot Dog loaded with Grilled Onions. Great service, Excellent food.The cod and the halibut fish and chips were perfect! We ate there for dinner on Sunday night. The place was busy with a small line up. The girl serving was great with everyone and the short wait was very worth it. The halibut was the best I have tasted. We were impressed at how good this place is and we were able to find a bench to enjoy our meal. There is a small sitting area with tables adjacent to the truck. We look forward to eating here with visitors this summer.

The location of this establishment is wonderful. It is in the parking lot of the marina with seating on the grass of the park. So much fun to watch people, boats, kids etc. Playground on the other side of the field. The fish and chips are very tasty but we are always shocked at how expensive it is! We usually go once or twice a summer.

Located by the marina, Surfside has a smallish menu of fish and hot dogs. Our fish was perfectly cooked, very tender and juicy and the fries freshly cooked and crispy. The coleslaw is obviously home-made and really good. My only criticism would be that the chips were too thinly cut,more french fries than British-style chips. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I recommend the salmon fish and chips. Delicious. You get choice of different varieties of fish with different prices. We also had the fish tacos. Our cod fish could have cooked longer. We liked the sauce. You ordered and within minutes it was done. Great for the price and it is right near the dock and park in Comox.

Frischer geht's nicht mehr. Die Fischerboote liegen direkt vor dem kleinen Imbiss. Halibut und Austern... super Preisleistung ausgezeichnet. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Das darf man bei einem Besuch in Comox nicht verpassen.Es hat ein paar Tische zum Verweilen mit Sicht auf die Fischerboote.

I consider myself a fish & chip efectinato of sort I travel the island in search of the elusive fish and chips. Here is a place serving out of a boler trailer that makes fantastic fish and chippers. The services is great the views over look the Comox Harbour what more could you ask for.

Great little Boler serving fresh food at a good price. Their little patio over looking the yacht basin and glacier is perfect on a hot night (which we have had a lot of) with a lovely ocean breeze. Very casual, messy food so don't wear anything white! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Great place to enjoy fresh fish after a walk at the marina. The fish and chips are great, lots of selections of fish and other eats. drop by here at least once a month during season.
