We went to La Flotte with the aim of eating by the harbour, as we usually do. However, I knew that my husband was hankering after sushi and had been disappointed that the sushi place we used to visit in Ars had closed down so...I led him down the road to where I knew Sushi Folie was. We sat outside with our dog and received very friendly and knowledgable service from two different waiters. The sushi, the cabbage salad and the prawn tempura roll were all very good and, if we hadn't had dinner booked elsewhere for that night, we would definitely have had seconds! We discovered Sushi Folie whilst exploring La Flotte. The restaurant was rather tucked away, just a short distance from the main shopping street. Neither I nor my husband had much experience of Japanese food; so we accepted the advice of the young man who was...serving. We didn’t want a full lunch, but rather something light. I settled for a small plate of assorted sushi, and my husband had the tempura prawns. We both very much enjoyed our lunch and the new experience of sushi. We can certainly recommend the restaurant and, if we have the opportunity, would go there again.
Really enjoyed a few plates of sushi here with our teenage girls who both love sushi. It was fresh and well presented with good flavour. Very much a salmon and tuna focus and they don 't do too much in the way of hot dishes, but...if you like your Japanese food to be of the the 'simple and tasty sushi and sashimi ' variety, this is a great spot.
We had dinner here with family and the sushi were truly delightful, very fresh. Lots of vegetarian options as well (I'm veggie) I particularly recommend the tofu chirachi and seed roll. Simple French surroundings with friendly attentive staff, helpful with the menu and the language. We went for the house white and red at Eu4.60 per glass and the 30 Sushi platter for Eu33. Everything was fresh and the best of quality. Busy but not noisy...like an Italian restaurant. Definitely a must visit venue.
On vacation with my wife, we went to sushi folie because we had heard good recommendations. Great place! Fresh, tasty, mix of cold and hot sushi, good price for the quality and most of all amazing service. The staff were very friendly and helpful!! Will...go back there if we ever come back to this city.
we have to eat around 20:50 clock, the restaurant closes at 9:30 clock, but they did not want to take us, although they had many tables, really unwilling, they were disturbed by the fact that my friend did not speak French.
