We had heard great things about this restaurant and were excited for the experience. Unfortunately, it seems that the chef has moved on with the opening of Sushi Nakamura, and our visit to this Meanwood location was a disappointment. In all honesty, we cannot find anything positive to say: 1. It was freezing cold. 2. There was no wine. 3. There was no fish. 4. There was no sashimi/sushi. 5. There was no avocado. 6. We were charged £6 for a sliced tomato. We were hoping for a classic and cozy dining experience, but that was not what we got. We ended up spending £97 and had to go out for dinner again. This restaurant is absolutely incredible. It is a unique and special place with amazing food. The attention to detail and precision in the dishes is excellent.
