Update: At the time of writing, this sushi cafe was a part of The Sushi 79 franchise. - May 2015 This neat little Japanese cafe/restaurant (hard to tell which one it's supposed to be) is in an excellent location (facing the harbour) and has an extensive selection of Japanese goodies Now usually, in the past, I have been quite disappointed by Korean-run Japanese eateries; however, this one, I am glad to say, breaks the mould. Our family decided to have a girls' night out and we were craving sushi. We came across this restaurant which had a decent crowd, but we were only able to sit outside due to the cold. Regardless, we took the outdoor seats. The menu offered a good variety of options, with some dishes being better than others. We ended up ordering three sushi roll plates and two hot dishes, all of which were cooked well and presented beautifully. The only downside was a slight issue with the rindings on the side.
I discovered this sushi restaurant during my recent travels and decided to give it a try. The sushi looked very fresh and I was impressed by the huge rolls, particularly the spider rolls. These rolls were filled with delicious soft-shell crab and cool ingredients. I bought a few to take with me on the go and found them to be incredibly tasty when I finally had a chance to enjoy them.
My favorite sushi place in the Redlands. Everything is freshly made, reasonably priced for location and friendly staff. The waitress brought my girlfriend a free iced tea after forgetting to bring water to the table. Only thing I would suggest more of a visual barrier between dining area and kitchen. Went to this place for the first time today. I've heard a lot of things about it and it didn't disappoint. Sushi was very fresh. Made to order and didn't taste like the ingredients had been pulled from the fridge. Plenty of staff working ensured quick service and the sushi came out quickly. Relatively decent price as well.
BEST SUSHI IN THE REDLANDS. food is always perfect and the service is wonderful. The owner is really a great guy! The interior is perfectly decorated and has a very japanese feel inside. This place is a must!
I am a sushi lover and I visit this restaurant 1-2 times a week. The food and service are always excellent! This is undoubtedly the best Japanese food and sushi in Redlands! I would rate it 10/10.
