My favorite dishes included the prawn skewers (that marinade is incredible!), the fresh rice paper rolls, and the vanilla mochi dessert (it's so soft, sweet, and delicious). However, I wasn't a big fan of the elaborate scallop and salmon rolls; they felt overwhelming, and the seafood flavor was lost because they were heavily drizzled with sauce. Overall, though, the quality of the sushi was outstanding.
I will certainly be returning, and this is likely to become my new go-to sushi spot. The food is excellent!
This is a fantastic, reasonably priced sushi restaurant located in the revitalized Double Bay. When compared to some of the nearby Japanese restaurants, Sushi Maru offers a more affordable option without compromising on quality. Be sure to try the seared salmon nigiri; it’s a standout dish, especially when it's freshly prepared by the sushi chefs right in front of you on the conveyor. The staff are very attentive and eager to assist, even accommodating customized orders!
Fantastic experience! I brought my friends here for lunch, and we loved it. The highlights were the sashimi, the aburi salmon lobster salad, and the karaage chicken – all absolutely delicious! I also really enjoyed the lotus root! This place is a must-visit in Double Bay. It's one of the best sushi trains I've ever been to. Highly recommend!
Was starving and this was the closest place. Usually I turn to my phone to check reviews but my phone had run out of battery so I took a punt and tried this place. I'm glad I did!!! Sorry friendly service and awesome, yummy food!!! I will be back again for sure. Thanks so much!!!

Sometimes nick in here fir an early dinner with our young son and it's a good spot to even have dinner with a toddler. A few seated spots makes it easy and sushi train as well as ordering makes it easier to handle a toddler. The food is good and it's a nice atmosphere in there.
This local Japanese sushi train serves consistently tasty and fresh food. The staff are warm and friendly. You can also order off the menu for a la carte and to top it off, they offer a loyalty card. Table seating or sit at sushi train
Super delicious food! Eat in or take away the food is fresh. Cute little garden in the middle of the sushi conveyor belt. Prompt service and unlimited green tea! Lovely presentation of the Salmon Aburi. Definitely eating here again!
Food was the best I ever had, especially the goyzas! Staff is the nicest staff I have met and if you come regularly they will remember your face. The only thing that might be an issue is the price, but it is completely worth it!

the manager was really rude and very impatient and did not speak nice to me. would not recommend if u wish good service.
