I've been really fortunate to try sushi all over the world. (Yes, Japan does it best. Hawaii is superb too.) I've noticed it becoming very popular (partly because it is so yummy and partly because people think it low calorie). This place is an example of a chain that is okay but certainly not great.The decor was nice but the top 40 music really took away from the ambience. It is not wheelchair friendly.The waitress (nice but a bit inexperienced) didn't know what fish was not available until after she had taken our order. I've been to Sushi Nami twice (each time on a Wednesday...$5 glasses of wine on that day!) and I'm making it a tradition. I've tried various rolls, and the classic spicy tuna is delicious and fresh. If you like a warm roll, get the mini kamikaze. YUM. The same server waited on us both Wednesdays and she is fantastic. Wish I knew her name. Yummy HOT miso soup, too. I'll keep coming back. I can't wait to try the ramen!
One of the worsts restaurants in St. John's server is not well knowledgeable on the promotions they're offering and the timings of their promotion. The other server is very rude as well! Super rude. The quality of the food is not nice. The ramen is very blunt I'd rather eat instant noodles that day. But I won't forget the server who gave our bill. Super rude!!!! Better go Bad bones Ramen than here! What a shame!
I love this place. This is our go-to date night spot. Nice, relaxing atmosphere, great service and some of the best sushi you'll find in St. John's metro. Don't miss the Firecracker's Dream and Sweet Dreams, and come during Tsu-nami Happy Hour for a great deal.

Went for lunch with my husband. Had a wonderful meal. We both ordered the veggie bento box and were very pleasantly surprised by both the quantity and the quality and type of food. We loved everything about it and cannot wait to go back!

The best place to get sushi in St. John's. Avocado always immensely fresh and soy sauce to die for. Cannot recommend enough.

We had a sushi craving and we were hungry at an odd time because most restaurants were closed before the dinner rush.
