Took a group here and had the $100 set menu. The food was definitely good but not spectacular. I wasn't disappointed at all but I wasn't blown away either. The beef was one of the best courses. This should have been served first but instead it came near the end when we were pretty full. The scallops were fresh and tasty but were kind of ruined by covering then with fried vermicelli noodles. Alot of fried food as well tempura style. The dessert that came with the Set menu was pretty average.The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice as well. You definitely will not go away hungry if you get the $100 set menu. I would come again but might order something else next time.
Great service & atmosphere, lots of room. Great wine selection, i luv that huge wine fridge. Food was hit & miss unfortunately. Entree - The Sashimi was fresh, soft shell crab sushi rolls were great. Mains - The lamb cutlets was divine, that egg plant & miso puree was to die for. I will be back just for that. Unfortunately the duck tepanyaki was a real let down- dry, tough & not much flavour to it, at $32 a dish, it was highly disappointing. Desserts - The Ivory Dome desert was nice, although the tempered choc was too thick, it was difficult to break or chew thru. Flavours were there though.
Hidden away underground just off Adelaide terrace, this place is quite large and could easily cater for a large group or function. They have the option of omakase (chefs selection) or you can pick from the menu, we went with the latter on this occasion. The sashimi platter was generous and had good variety and all the dishes were really fresh and super tasty, the soft shell crab maki was probably the standout though, I could have 10! Reasonably priced considering the prices at most Japanese restaurants, it compares well. A must if you are a Japanese food fan in Perth.
Ok so u cant order drinks at the bar mmm so had to sit for 25mins until a waiter took our order opps sorry only 2 people order ...what did u think the other four people didnt want to eat or drink had to wait another five minutes for our order to be taken..... meanwhile the two bar tenders are still cleaning the same wine glass over and over... Good value fresh delicious food at Sushia Izakaya. The assorted sashimi was as if someone had just gone to the sea and caught the fish for you.. so fresh and delightful. The fillet teppanyaki was so lush and just melt in the mouth. We also had soft shell crab sushi. Everything were just so yummy. Im still drooling thinking about the food there. Good selection of sake too.
So glad I found this place! The decor and ambiance is great and the little food we had was delicious. I had the edamame, salmon sashimi and agedashi tofu. All were great. I wish I could have had dessert as it looked amazing too. I have definitely added Sushia Izakaya to my list of places to revisit.
Went for lunch with my daughter.very hard to find but worth the hunt! Lovely decor and ambience. Nice atmosphere. Staff were welcoming but formally so. Reasonably attentive. Food was really, really good. Fresh and high quality. Recommended if you like Japanese. Very worth going.
I have been to this restaurant many times and it's one of my favourite. I do not eat seafood but I find there are more then enough options for me and there all delicious. My favourite dishes are the pork belly, vegetable tempura, beef and...More Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is always a great spot for a Japanese feast. Options of a lunch special or more fine dining - lunch or dinner the food has never been a fail. Highly recommend!
