After Liking their menu posts for many months, I finally was able to enjoy a delicious meal there on Tuesday, 11/10, during my visit to the 'burg. The special was chicken/dumplings with a side of carrots/peas and I chose a homemade chocolate milkshake for my beverage. The meal was delicious, served promptly, and in a friendly, clean atmosphere. The owners, J.R. and Jennifer, are delightful hosts and I understand why their cafe is such a success. Pburg peeps, if you haven 't been there, you won 't be disappointed! Jan Grow Howsmon
Super friendly, helpful staff. Super eclectic Shoppe, aesthetically pleasing. Really great coffee with various of flavors and combinations as well as non coffee drinks.Browse and find a unique treasure for yourself or as a gift from local artists. Yummy treats including gluten-free cookies and goodies from local vendors. Dogs are welcome there is even gluten-free dog treats for sale. Great place to hang out alone or with friends. One of my favorite places!!!
This is a fantastic restaurant where you're bound to make new friends in no time. If you don't see something you like on the menu, just let your server know, and the owner, J.R., will go out of his way to meet your cravings. We've been dining here for three years, and Eliz and Lizzie are exceptional servers! Jennifer also makes sure there are plenty of delicious desserts to take home, including their amazing homemade cookies!
The restaurant has a lovely cozy atmosphere! The staff members are very helpful in assisting you with your choices. I tried the matcha lavender drink, and as a big matcha fan, I found it to be decent, although not the best I've had. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, and I couldn't really taste the matcha. Nevertheless, it's a delightful place overall, and I recommend visiting if you're in Southern Pines!
I had a wonderful dinner in a lovely neighborhood! If I lived nearby, I'd definitely come here more often. The food and service were excellent. If you're looking for used books, you'll be pleased to find a great selection available for just $0.50 each, with proceeds going to the Humane Society.
My sister gets her coffee beans here so we had to stop by and try when we were in town. To our delight the shop was dog friendly. The drinks were delicious and the cinnamon crunch scone was *chefs kiss*. My son gave them two thumbs up!
Good down home food at s good price .... Great atmosphere, great staff, what more can one ask for .....
