Quite the disappointment, Sydney Dance Lounge missed on most front for both of us. Service was almost absence for most of the time including having to follow up on two orders. My lamb shoulder was presented (nicely) on skewers which was a little unexpected and it turned out to be a little overcooked and somewhat challenging to remove which was potential hazardous for the those at adjacent tables. The pomegranate salad base was delicious. Light, fresh and with crunch, it was a nice balance to the lamb. This could have been a great plate. Brisket was the other main of the evening. we have recently held an event in the sydney dance lounge for a small group. we have assured that we will have the place until 23:30, but since there was only a small group of guests left, we were asked to leave at 22:00, regardless of the agreement and a very substantial minimum spent. also the food and drink service had to be monitored. for example: we had to ask guests to offer a selection of drinks within the package we paid and not just what the venue was. if they decide to use this venue, make sure they stay vigilant in the night, have a contract with them if they decide to stop the event at their comfort.
Beautiful food and beautiful service So remember in my last review when the Lotus dumpling bar didn't want me because I was a solo diner, I went across the road to this little gem! The menus is amazing with such gourmet meals to choose from and such caring sweet service Definitely a must! The views are also much better than that other dump Food is outstanding, this is a classy restaurant. I had the prawns on a bed of chorizo risotto with a cranberry and lychee drink yummy!
Happy Dance. Stopped in here pre-theatre on a whim and had a perfectly lovely meal. Cool venue. We over-ordered but didn't regret a moment of it. Definitely 100% suggest the zucchini and haloumi frittata. Moist and delicious. Also shared the slow cooked lamb and a few others which were delicious. Avoid the bread and dip. Amazing Wedding Venue. We just celebrated our wedding at the Sydney Dance Lounge and I can't speak more highly of it. The food and wine was outstanding and very reasonably priced for the quality. The room looked just beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any other function.
great place to eat after a good dance in the sydney dance company! eating is average and expensive, I suppose, coz of the location, and the customer service is average as they don't have enough personal. good place to try, but even before they go there, try to book some class, it is expensive, but it is worth it.
I'm close to where I work. the ambiente is good and the locality is even better. the salads for lunch are good and gives them a good choice for going out. should even try the salmon and egg sandwich that is mouthwater and very humid and tasty. the Kofta court is also good. very reasonable prices.
