What a beautiful establishment with friendly staff and good food. I ordered the eggs Benedict with home fries cooked on the grill with onions. I was disappointed to see the hollandaise sauce wasn't homemade and also the home fries and onions were cooked desperately. It was still good but would have been amazing if the hollandaise was made in house and had crunchy onions lol but great news for the lactose folks, the breakfast sausages have no dairy but the turkey sausages do.
Recommended by Fairfield Inn where I stayed, Syl's neighbourhood might be described as a modern/upscale diner. Interesting menu with all your diner favourites (including liver and onions). I had the pickerel which was beautifully prepared and came with potato, veg and a salad. Brisk and friendly service, generous portion size and reasonable prices. Located on the edge of a mall so lots of parking.
Absolutely great, seriously 10/10, waitress was Nikki, very attentive, friendly. Located just off the Trans Canada. We had Ceasars salad with chicken, Greek with chicken, club sandwich and a mouth watering milk shake. Also they gave us chicken for our dog, very happy. Stopped by as I was travelling and early for a meeting I had that afternoon, What a fun treat! Breakfast was very good, the deco was cool (nice Parks n Rec quote) and they made me a mocha even though it's not on the menu.Food: 5/5
The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it did not disappoint at all. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again. Food rating: 5/5.
The salad selection here is excellent, and they look absolutely delicious! You can't go wrong with the pickerel dish either. They offer all-day breakfasts at reasonable prices. I highly recommend it! Food rating: 4/5.
