I ordered a mango dessert, but instead, they served me an unappetizing green concoction that was supposed to be a "mango brasilie," which didn’t taste anything like mango and looked nothing like what I expected. Additionally, they wouldn’t allow me to order the $5 request box, which was frustrating. The crispy taco I received was cold and stale, making it tough to chew, and the five-layer dish felt more like a cheese wrap than anything substantial. On a positive note, the guy at the window was friendly.
As I took a bite of the first taco, I was struck by a strong, unpleasant odor. All three tacos had the same smell, which also lingered on the bag. Liquid was dripping from the tacos as I pulled them out. After giving up on eating and returning to work, I realized that the contents had stained my pants. Without placing blame or further comment, I want to express that I won't be returning to this location. At least I hope they're trying to improve or have run out of whatever caused this issue.
There’s nothing quite like a trip to the border. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was friendly. It seemed like they might have been short-staffed, but my food was prepared perfectly. That's something you don't often find at many Taco Bell locations. There's nothing worse than a ruined taco! Kudos to the team for maintaining such high quality.
