Taco Embassy is the Best Mexican restaurant in St. Catharine’s Ontario Canada. Warm and fresh Pozole Soup, was the highlight of the dinner! All very tasty and yummy! We had a self-guided walking food tour that brought us to this gem! The staff was very nice and the manager was happy to have us and to highlight some favorites. The soup was amazing; so much flavor; I could eat it every day. The margaritas were good but the tajin rim took it to another level (I know know that I prefer a chili-lime rim . Can’t end a meal without churros : Definitely recommend departing from the main Street to come here!
Interesting decor. Not the best vegan/ vegetarian options as the rice which should be a default and staple in a dish for everyone, is made with chicken broth. The salad was ok but had too much water as it seems the lettuce was not drained after washing. The staff seemed ok to interact with but could be more friendly to make a more enjoyable experience. We love Taco Embassy!! The food is delicious and served in great portions! The staff are so friendly and the decorations makes the entire experience memorable each and every time we have visited. The themed rooms are so fun definitely ask for a tour if it's not busy. This is definitely a restaurant that we've put in our lunch/dinner rotation!
As for parking, there are 8 metered spots right outside the restaurant, along with additional street parking, a parking garage, and several lots within a few blocks. Generally, parking is free after 6 PM and on weekends, unless there are significant events happening in the area.
I came from out of town and was looking for a great dinner option, and they definitely delivered! The service was warm and friendly, making us feel like part of the family. They even allowed us to explore the place! Thank you!

Best authentic Mexican food in Niagara. Hands down. The family that owns it are all super nice and amazing people. One of our favorite spots to eat out.
