I'm not a big fan of standing at a counter to order my meal then take a number and place on my table. Then once I'm finished I'm to throw my paper goods etc... into the trash and staff expects us all to tip. Tips were originally for service above the norm I didn't see cause to tip only my heart inspired me to provide one. I'm regards to their food, I had a large garden salad with chicken with cilantro vinaigrette. It was good not great I would give the salad a 3.5. I also ordered a $9 Chicken Taco. The food is good and this franchise is busy, so I completely understand certain delays and such, however, service should not be as unapologetically inattentive and frustrating for a customer as it was last night.I waited in sight of the counter for 40 plus minutes. I was so hungry, so very very hungry. I politely asked the staff if my food had been prepared yet. They turned around, looking for several minutes and grabbed a sack of food sitting for 10 minutes? 20? 30? and handed it to me. All they said was couldn't find you Yes, this a busy place, but it's small and I was holding my red block up like Rafiki holding up baby Simba on Pride Rock. Definitely not your standard Mexican restaurant. This place is fun and inviting. It's more of a neighborhood spot to grab a seriously delicious margarita and have a quick bite of well done Mexican fare.
Everything from the staff Josh, Jacob, and Chloe( I hope I got the names right) to the food to the drinks everything was top notch and we will definitely be back.
