For some reason, we really enjoy Taco Taxi for a quick and casual meal. Their nachos come heaped with a generous serving of carne asada, lettuce, and authentic queso and crema, making them incredibly satisfying. We also appreciate the option to order a bundle of five tacos at once. So far, our favorite has been the carnitas!
The tacos are quite tasty, made in a more traditional style than the typical Tex-Mex version. However, the prices have risen; 5 tacos used to be $10, but now they cost $15. Some of the meat was a bit on the dry side, but the accompanying sauces do a good job of covering up that problem.
I ordered the Torta Cubana but was served something that looked like garbage on a roll. It was completely inedible. The chips with salsa were decent, but the French fries were just average. I also didn't receive the sweet plantains.
What a fantastic spot! This cozy little hacienda served us tostadas—2 chicken, 2 shrimp—along with 2 margaritas, 2 bottles of water, and a dessert, all for just $40. We enjoyed sitting at a sidewalk table. Absolutely great! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I absolutely love the tacos at this restaurant! They are authentic and incredibly tasty. The only downside I experienced was discovering a bone or two in the carnitas.
It used to be a fantastic spot offering great value, but now the prices are too steep, and there aren't enough staff to handle the demand.
