The food was also excellent, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We both ordered the loaded nachos, and they were just as tasty as they were visually appealing. The drink selection is impressive too, with a wide variety of beers on tap and in bottles, particularly Mexican options, which fits perfectly with the theme. The ambiance of the restaurant is enjoyable, featuring some creative decor, such as sideways doors that serve as an entryway wall. One point to note is that open-concept spaces can create noise issues, and this venue is no different. However, we were still able to hear each other during our visit, though I can’t guarantee that would be the case when the restaurant...
Do not pass Taqueria 304. On our usual driving-through meal break in Wheeling, we found the spot and it did not disappoint in any shape or form. The special bahn-mi tacos with pork belly were so spot on and the loaded nachos appeased the pickiest eater in the bunch. The pollos tacos and the expertly suggested remainders were exactly what was needed. Fantastic service, very cold beer and we are back on the road with a happy crew. Thank you Taqueria 304, we will see you on the way back!
I stopped in Wheeling tonight and had a fantastic experience. The service was great, and they had an excellent selection of beers. The atmosphere was really nice, too. The food was bursting with flavor and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend the birria tacos and the WV surf and turf – I would definitely order them the same way again. I’ll be sure to stop by the next time I’m passing through!
Solid taco filling choices in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere not overly loud music (thankfully! a friendly and attentive staff and quick service. Both of our taco choices were great. I especially appreciated the fact that my shrimp tacos came with doubled tortillas so I wouldn't lose all the filling on the first bite! An excellent lunch. This is the best Taco Joint I've ever been to. The tacos are second to none with a great beer collection. It's a local bar but they make everyone feel like a local. Every member of the staff is super friendly.
It's sloppy food but very tasty. Great beer selection. Lots of micro and seasonals. Daily beer and monthly specialty tacos. They were also having swag giveaways. Friendly staff and clean. Will be back.
