The hostess was very nice. The table was ready earlier than expected. The food is delicious! We tried the mocktails. The one with hibiscus was the best one. The salsas (they bring you a flight to choose from) are amazing. The guacamole was very good as are the homemade tortillas. We got carnitas, spicy shrimp, chicken and fried fish tacos. The carnitas and spicy shrimp were the best. The only negative was our server was not attentive. We waited 20 mins for the drinks but the manager came and apologized for the wait. The server then gave us chips, salsa and guacamole and we never saw her again. I tried to flag her down a few times but she was not responsive. I got the hostess to send her over...
My friend and I decided to grab some drinks, and after picking us up from a champagne brunch (check out my review on Google Maps), her husband was feeling a bit hungry. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, some delicious watermelon margaritas, micheladas, queso, and tacos. We sat outside, enjoying a lively view of the bustling streets. I sampled a few of the tacos, and they were soft and bursting with flavor. The queso was a bit too spicy for my taste, but still quite good. After that, we made our way to the Purple Orchid. After biking from Redondo Beach to Playa del Rey and back, we decided to take a break at Manhattan Beach for some tacos! With several options available, I followed my instincts and chose this place. I must say, it's a modern and laid-back spot. They offer outdoor seating and are dog-friendly, which is a big plus! The hostess kindly allowed us to keep our bikes near the table. I mentioned that we were on a food tour and only wanted a tasting, so we ordered the Baja Style Pacific Cod tacos, which came with cabbage and cumin.
Nice fish tacos with fried fish ! Very tasty and fresh . I also had a margarita which was also good . This place is literally right up the street from the Pier at Manhattan beach so if you're coming down to the beach and want a bite to eat this is a great spot . Casual and friendly .Tacos came with 4 different small sauces and stuff in little cups . One was too hot for me but the others were nice . Also they are open at 11 a.m. ! So they open a bit earlier than Rock'n'Fish

Showed up was told to sit wherever So i picked a table. Was then asked to move to another table after I had sat down. Then was asked to move again. Not sure what was going on with service that day. Ordered the guacamole and it was decent. Server took awhile to get my order eventhough the restaurant wasn't crazy busy. Decided to pass on main dish and just paid and left.
The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and offers delicious food. The salsa chips served at the table were excellent. Two out of the three tacos were flavorful, although the carnitas didn't quite meet expectations. I really appreciated their attentiveness to my son's food allergies. Overall, a great experience!
I can only speak to the service, which was completely lacking, as there was no option to order food. Upon my arrival, I was not welcomed or offered a seat. I looked at the menu posted at the entrance and tried to make eye contact multiple times with the staff, but there were only two other customers inside.
The tacos are regular size tortillas but they have a lot of meat which makes them huge! The shrimp tacos are in my opinion the best in the menu. The drinks are very nice specially the spicy margarita. The service was very pleasant and friendly.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is delicious and truly lives up to its name, Tacolicious. If you're in the area and enjoy Mexican cuisine, you should definitely check it out. I absolutely love the salsas!
We had four kids with us, and it was wonderful to be outdoors! The table was perfectly set and waiting for us!
