This place came highly recommended to me by a friend. Bessie and Angelica were absolutely wonderful. Their suggestions were spot on. I got quite a few things, but here is my breakdown:Gordita with spicy asada was awesome. Not too spicy, for people that can't handle too much heat, but I added hot sauce after trying it (thank you for the suggestion, Angelica)Quesabirria was the best I've had* and definitely a good portion size (thank you Bessie for the suggestion)*Made with beef instead of goat or lambI was pretty nervous about the barbacoa because I'm super picky about it, but there's was great! Not too greasy, not too dry, but I definitely need to go back and try it on its own without the on...
Taco heaven! My wife and I shared a barbacoa taco, tender and tasty. We also shared the quesabirria, three grilled crispy corn tortillas with beef birria and melty gooey cheese, served with some awesome homemade consomme, cilantro, onions, lime, and sliced radish. I've been curious about birria tacos and now I know we love them. Very nice people serving great food....we'll be back for more of these goodies. Check out my pics. They bring 6 bottles of salsa ranging from mild to hot and leave them at your table....yes I had to try all of them.....great stuff.
This place is a must try. I have tried so many different Mexican restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 5. Everything was super flavorful. They bring out 6 salsas which all taste great. They range from mild to pretty spicy! The service was fast and friendly. They don?t sell alcohol so it is BYOB if you are craving a beer to go with your food. Try it out, you won?t regret it.
Wow! This place is awesome and laid back! I received excellent customer service and a wide variety of salsa choices. I ordered the quesabirria tacos as I never tried them before. Man! There were delicious! Not as greasy as I expected with wonderful flavor and tender meat. I'm bringing my wife next time to try these out. Fully recommend this place just to try their tacos.
So far the best tacos we have tried this trip. Great selection of different meats. My favorite was the barbacoa. The birria tacos and birria quesadilla were the best. Super friendly staff. No beer sold there but corner store had them and could bring them in. Def check this place out. Flavors on point and worth the trip. Lines can get long during the weekend.
Cute little spot for tacos. They have lots of salsas to choose from as well. Great decor as well. The tacos are a bit pricey for what you get but they are good and tasty. Candy is a bit expensive there too but all in all it was a nice place to eat, the service was amazing, the place was clean, and the food and salsas were great.
Visiting from Chicago, this restaurant was recommended as AUTHENTIC. Turns out to be a beautiful family owned restaurant with 5 star food and service. The options of many hot sauces were a special touch!! Each item was filled with taste including the rice and beans. Nothing was left to take home. We had to order more.
Food was delicious, staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and story of the sauces and owners. The colorful environment and clean establishment was a cherry on top. One of very few restaurants that TASTES like authentic Mexican food, not Tex Mex.
Oh boy. Amazing. Ordered the Quessabira, and wow..... this was delicious. The consume was unreal. You could just order that and drink it alone. What a combo. Wish there was a tiny bit more meat in the tacos, but can't complain. Would visit and order again!
