I was on the lookout for a Latin restaurant and stumbled upon this authentic Mexican eatery, which I absolutely adore. To me, Mexican food is comfort food. During my first visit, I tried a burrito bowl, chicken breast in mole poblano, and two servings of my favorite dessert: tres leches. The second time, I had an enchilada in mole. By my third visit, I opted for two enchiladas—one with mole verde and one with mole poblano—along with a side salad and, of course, more tres leches.

The atmosphere is charming, set in an old silver dining car that resembles a classic Jersey diner, now transformed into a Mexican restaurant. Although it primarily operates as a takeout spot, there are a few tables and a counter with several stools for dining in. I’ve ordered takeout multiple times and have dined in twice. What's great is that you can watch the chefs cook your meal on the griddle, ensuring everything is made fresh to order every time.
Now, onto the main attraction: the birria tacos. I can honestly say they are the best birria tacos I've ever had! They were juicy, perfectly cooked, and wonderfully seasoned. My mom and I devoured everything after feeling a bit grumpy and hungry, and it completely lifted our spirits. Even my little sister, who usually doesn't like tacos, enjoyed them and asked for more. I will definitely be ordering from here again!
I have a love and hate relationship with Tacos Locos because I love their food, they are super cheap with their sauce. Most of the time they forget to put it in the bag for delivery orders or put one sauce for multiple orders and tacos without the sauce is like pizza without the cheese for me so most of the time I am left disappointed. Beside my sauce issue the tacos are always good and love the churros too.

I've been here many times and the tacos are delicious, the green sauce is not to spicy and the staff is always friendly. Service is pretty quick too. Chicken tacos, tacos al Pastore, churros, horchata, Tamarindo, all super tasty. Would definitely recommend if you're craving authentic Mexican.Food: 5/5
Quick, friendly service. Reasonable prices. Cool calm vibes on the corner of a neighborhood street. Taco shells crispy and didn't fall apart. Fresh and flavorful food, what more can you ask for? I will be returning next taco Tuesday!
Flautas were done well but the steak tacos were very mediocre dry meat, old cilantro, almost no onions, under prepared tortillas. Pico de gallo was too watery. Green salsa had no heat or flavor.
Incredible tacos! The food is always fresh. We’re currently working on a nearby project and this has become our go-to lunch spot. The service is outstanding!

Chicken Enchiladas with Green Sauce were delicious. Refried Beans and Rice came with the platter. Service was wonderful and accommodating. I'll be back !
