I used to love Taiko Sushi when I first discovered it and used to visit quite often. Recently, I've been ordering takeout more frequently, and I've noticed a big difference in quality compared to dining in. For two days in a row, the sushi rice was undercooked. Today, I ordered my favorite roll, but it was falling apart because it wasn't cut properly. If I wanted a poke bowl, I would have ordered one instead. The takeout quality really says a lot, and unfortunately, this might be the last time I order from Taiko Sushi's menu.
We've had excellent and disgusting sushi here. Quality seems to be complete hit or miss. We've gone on several occasions, and about 1/3 of the time the fish was inedible, 1/3 is pretty good, and 1/3 is amazing. Just hard to reply on as an establishmentto recommend or take friends and family to for such a gamble. I sent this in an email to Taiko and never received a reply, so Iassume it's not monitored or they don't care.
Ordered the fishing boat. Great deal $50 for 3 different sashimi (2 each) and 3 specialty rolls. 1. Lion King 2. Red Dragon 3. Don San. Everything was delicious besides the miso soup, Tofu tasted weird in it. Service was a bit slow, but servers were incredibly friendly and nice. Everything we asked for was brought without any issues. Definitely a great sushi place. Will be back to try other rolls!
First time here and it was amazing. In a incredibly fun space with shared areas for each business. Service was great as my wife and I sat at the sushi bar. We got a fishing boat (3 rolls and sashimi. The fish is fresh, definitely not frozen. Highly recommend for a relaxing experience.

Food is always mind blowingly good. But the waitresses always forget about you. Last 4 times I've had to get up to ask for plates and utensils and soy sauce my check as well and water refills. Chefs are amazing. Waitresses don't do anything
Sushi is probably the best sushi in the Carmichael area. Personalable service and friendly staff. Rocky roll is an instant classic and the Ursula roll is for the adventurous. If I could give them 6 stars I would.
This place has consistently great sushi with some surprises like the fresh oysters! One of my favorite things are the zucchini noodles in place of rice in the poke bowls if I want to keep carbs low.
Such friendly service and great food for a great price. I have been to some disappointing sushi spots lately but this place was delicious and good quality with hearty portions

This is my favorite Sushi restaurant ???? We had the Sushi Chef creat a special roll for us, it was fantastic. The other roll is a Kings Roll
