I had a truly wonderful experience at "Historical Spanish LA"! The food was fantastic, the building itself is stunning, and the service was exceptional. If you're looking for a quieter atmosphere, I recommend sitting at the bar during lunch. Overall, it's a remarkable showcase of history combined with an excellent culinary experience, impressive architecture, and beautiful art. The restaurant is named after the artist Tamiyo, which adds to its charm. The service is top-notch, and they even offer complimentary valet parking! The roads can be a bit confusing to navigate, so I suggest taking E Olympic Blvd. straight to the address. I'm confident you'll find the entire experience delightful.
Tamayo is an absolute treasure. The food is abundant and delicious, and the menu offers a fantastic selection. The service is warm and welcoming. We enjoyed fajitas and a sampler appetizer, both bursting with flavor. There was an impressive array of salsas to accompany the generous basket of tortilla chips. We ended up with plenty of leftovers to take home and savor again later.
Wonderful open air atmosphere. Valet parking and great food. If you like Mexican food it is a great place and is good for having large parties. Everyone that works there are hard working and kind. If you like great service, at least the times I have been there, which is usually three times a year, its been excellent!
Tamayo's has been consistently the best restaurant since the day that it opened. The service is supreme, the food is succulent and the ambiance is very relaxing for all occasions.

The space is beautiful. The whole staff is welcoming, polite and very accommodating. Most importantly the food is pretty exceptional. A great place for a special occasion!
A three person business lunch went well, distinct salsas just OK Guacamole, tasty food all delivered with charm and excellence by several waiters that attended to us.
Tamayo had no record of my reservation despite the 2 emails I received from Open Table and a reminder text from Open Table that I confirmed the day before
Had an excellent meal with Great service. We enjoy coming here and look forward to our next visit.
