Today I first visited Tandoori King Café with a friend. We both had such an extraordinary experience with service and food. We had asked what was recommended because we both wanted something with lamb. We wanted to try the Lamb Methi Malai. It was by far the most delicious Indian dish we both tried. The taste and spices were perfect and could not have been more perfect. I would recommend everyone to eat here and I can't wait to go back and try more out their menu. Thank you to the staff for the great experience!
The Tandoori chicken was edible but sub-par, which is disappointing seeing as how the name of this place is Tandoori cafe. It was dry and not very flavorful. The butter chicken was probably the worst butter chicken we?ve eaten: extremely sweet and creamy. It also wasn?t very comforting watching the guys in the kitchen making the food with their long hair flailing about without hairnets. The Ras malai was the saddest $6 I?ve ever spent.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. It's another hidden gem in Richmond near IKEA. We ordered chicken karahi and chicken curry, along with pulao rice and garlic naan. The service was good, and our food came out promptly, even though we came in for lunch after 11am and were the first customers to dine in. We can't wait to come back!
This is AWFUL. They sent me the FOOD (PANEER). I ordered this place for lunch today and was thrilled to eat the food I ordered. But after tasting the paneer it was spoiled and quiet DISGUSTING. Soon after, my fiancée and I had stomach pain and now feel sick. Would not recommend this place at all. Don't eat here if you want to get sick.
Absolutely delicious. Another hidden gem in Richmond close by IKEA. We ordered chicken karahi and chicken curry along with pulao rice garlic naan. Service was good as well, our food came at right timing not too long although we did came in for lunch after 11am and was the first customers to dine in hehe! But man, can?t wait to return!
Came out of town, googled for the highly rated Indian restaurant around us, and these guys drove us away with their food. They deserve their reviews. Very delicious, generous portions and great service! We came twice because the food was so good. Thanks for the hospitality!
Tried their paneer pasanda. It was super delicious. And their samosa channa was tasty too. Their veg biriyani is not that good but try the chicken biriyani ? the staff is friendly and their food taste really good. Highly recommend it.
Very reasonably priced. Butter chicken wrap was amazing, some kind of fresh herbs in there, tasted vibrant and fresh. Kudos to them, it's hard to improve on Indian cuisine but they managed it.
Doesn't matter what you order, you'll want rice and naan bread! Paneer was great and the lamb was super tender! The respective sauces, I salavate over just thinking about them!
