Tao Dumpling Chinese Restaurant

my wife and I went to a late lunch. service was ok, not fantastic but far from bad. we ordered some blunt appetizers, steamed grilled and deep fried lamb and fön ( really good the deep fried)...for netzen I ordered a kind of seafood soup,...not to realize it came with noodles I ordered a fried vegetables as well as, my wife ordered fried garnish in a salt type case that was excellently cooked in it. the suppe was a bit bland, like the fish, garnish and calamari, but nothing a hauch of soy could not sort the garnish were perfectly cooked, but a tad too salty and we needed plenty of water later to flush our systems, but overall a more than acceptable meal and for the under $70 price-day it was...

came here to dinner after the gym... just wanted a little cheap and casual. I love places like this, no service until it, cramped sitting places and a long, long menu. Everything here was so easy, fahne over a waiter, commanded, eating came as it...considered and that was that. eating came incredibly fast and was piercing hot- loved the gay and pan roasted noodles above all. my only disadvantage here is that it is not cheap Chinese up to melbourne standards (denke shanghai dumpling house). dinner will cost us $70 for 3 dishes and go up a bit. overall, although good vibes, good food and I would definitely be back for the dumplings.

We came upon this place on a Saturday at 9:30pm and they were still open and quite busy at that hour. We ordered crab and sweetcorn soup, pan fried chicken and prawn dumplings and pork with salt and chilli. Every dish was superb. Each had different flavours and every meat we had was succulent. The pork was so tender with amazing flavours, definitely the best pork dish I have eaten in a long time. The waiters were very courteous and obliging. The ability to have yum Cha foods this late at night makes Tao number one in my books. Do yourself a favour and give Tao a try.

We are absolutely shocked by the rating this eatery has gained. Without going into too much details: Dumplings were bad...Very bad, no favor, no texture and very dry. Calamari was crisp but rubbery....Quite difficult to swallow, let alone chew. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

My friend and I went for lunch and tried the calamari seafood noodles at this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious. We visit this place often as it is one of our favorites. The staff, especially Jason the manager, are amazing.

During my visit to Tao in Camberwell, I had certain expectations. However, we all agreed that the experience was not as good as expected. The restaurant is quite small, making it crowded when it's full.
