We have moved to Dockland and this place is our local bar. The bar is pretty cool and finished well inside. The bar is well equipped and it has a terrace on the first floor which is nice. They offer a special menu mid-week in order to get people in. It's not bad if you get the food at the special price. I have been here twice for lunch as work is nearby and on both occasions the food was great. I have eaten their steak which was cooked medium as requested, it was great because they had a $20 lunch special. The second time I ordered their potato gnocchi with a rocket and pear side salad. The gnocchi was cooked well, fairly plain with a pumpkin puree at the base but nice. So it’s no surprise that nearly all of the customers are office workers. I has arrangements to meet a friend of mine and my wife at the very nearby Pok Pok Thai Restaurant at 6pm for dinner.As I finished work nearby at 5pm I decided to kill some time at this bar. Luckily my friend was also early and unplanned we caught up here for drinks prior to dinner.They had a $7 happy hour with "selected' beers and wines from 4-7pm. Prices were not the best I have had during a happy hour in the city. Our social function was held on the balcony upstairs facing Bourke street with a bar that opened onto the balcony. The atmosphere is contemporary yet casaual.Good beer & wine selections kept everyone happy, plus excellent finger food - lamb pies, calamaries, Samosas arrived hot and tasty.Friendly staff provided excellent service. A great new addition to Docklands, We certainly enjoyed our time there, will definitely be back.
We had lunch here.....food was excellent.....good choices on the menu to cover all tastes. Downstairs it's counter ordering and it did take quite a long time for the meals to arrive. However in fairness two of our party ordered beef short ribs which may have taken longer than usual to order. Service was a bit indifferent.
