I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at this restaurant. I informed them over the phone that there would be 30 to 35 people attending, and we had a verbal agreement that I would be responsible for any no-shows and that we would have to do a buffet style meal. I chose five entrees, as well as a salad and antipasto. When the day arrived, they kept a close eye on us to ensure we had the agreed upon number of people, and then proceeded to charge me for those who didn't show up, along with a 20% tip for the buffet style service, which they did not actually provide. So I had my birthday dinner there. They kept staring at us to make sure I had 30 to 35 people and then they charge me for the people didn't show up at also a 20% tip for buffet style they didn't even serve us. I never heard of that and I lived in Clark 40 years and I love that restaurant for a long time that was a good restaurant but I will never step my foot back in there. The people that work there are horrible...
I hadn't visited this restaurant since I was a child, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were still open after the pandemic. They appear to have recently renovated and the interior looks really nice! On a Friday night, the restaurant was bustling and felt a bit crowded. However, everything else was fantastic! The service we received was excellent, and the food was really good. It was what you would expect from a typical Italian restaurant in New Jersey. I was happy to see that they still had fruit sorbet on the dessert menu!
Haven't been here since I was a kid, but was pleasantly surprised that they are still around after the pandemic. They seem to have renovated recently and it looks really nice inside! On a Friday night it was hopping and felt a bit crowded. But otherwise everything was great! The service we had was excellent!! Food was really good as well, what you would expect for a typical Italian restaurant in NJ though. Glad that they still had the fruit sorbet on the dessert menu!
This Italian restaurant in Clark is fantastic. It has a long-standing reputation and offers a large bar area, a lovely dining area, and even a Pizzeria section. The chicken dishes are consistently delicious, especially the parmigiana and marsala. They also have a great variety of sautéed pasta options. The pizza is thin crust and reminiscent of New York style. The service is usually excellent and they offer takeout. There is plenty of free parking available as well.
This star rating just popped up on my feed, looks like I reviewed this Clark, NJ staple like four years ago, as a 3 star. We have been back and number of times and I now give it 4 stars. Almost like a Jersey diner with the wide variety of menu options -more than just an Italian place. No baklava, though. We enjoy family outings here at least once or twice a year now.

The Alfredo fettuccine was a complete disappointment I wouldn?t recommend. The sauce was bland and oily. I asked for breaded chicken and expected a crisp to the taste, however, it was less than what I expected. This dish was not the best.
Staff was simply amazing and caring. Even amongst regulars they treated us like their own. Food was DELICIOUS. If ever I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back.
