Just outstanding. Firstly, the cocktails: very generous amount and not overloaded with ice. We had mojitos and they were fantastic. Next, the people who own this place and the servers are incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough to welcome us. Finally, the food: we ordered 5 tapas plates which was plenty for 2 people. We ordered the croquettes, chorizo, king prawns, battered cod, patatas bravas. All of the dishes were fantastic quality and served fresh, when they were ready, straight from the kitchen. I was very surprised by this place, from the start the waiters are very nice, friendly and attentive from the beginning. We even appreciate the initial honesty with which he told us that today they only had one cook, and that we please be patient with the food (a detail to be appreciated because often in places they have you waiting for a long time without knowing anything). The dishes were all delicious and special mention to the beef stew. We have not lacked for anything at any time and we have been wonderfully cared for. Just had a lovely meal at Tasca La Vida We were so well looked after from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Paul for the wonderful service. Food was delicious could tell was fresh and everything arrived to the table piping hot. Our favourites were the Papas Bravas, Garlic Prawns (ordered more they were so good) and the Honey Glazed Goats Cheese. Me and my wife ate here last night and i can't fault a single thing . The food is absolutely out of this world and the staff are so friendly don't let the Scouse accent at the front of house fool you this place is a culinary gem . In fact it was that good we are going back tonight and i can't wait. If your in the area do yourself a favour and give this place a try i guarantee you won't be disappointed.... Amazing. Very well treated food. The meat stew, to dip bread. The patatas bravas, one of the best I've ever had and I've had quite a few. The Galician octopus is very rich, although a little scarce. Everything cooked at the moment. Wait times are very acceptable. The exquisite treatment, super attentive and willing to please at all times. We were able to taste two wines before deciding.
