Sounds like a new owner with the same name with better food in the last 6 months or so. The new menu with more authentic Spanish cuisine was great and we look forward to coming back...great date/night out with the spouse and knowledgeable staff. I don’t usually write reviews...if you like Tapas...this is your place. Paella and the Sangria is especially authentic.
I have passed by Tasca many times, but never had the opportunity to try it. Now that I did it will be on my list of go-to restaurants for Spanish food. The tapas were interesting and delicious and the paella was excellent, loaded with shrimp, muscles, and clams. It was simply wonderfully prepared.
Waiter was very personable and helped us order from an unfamiliar menu. Nice to escape to a little place outside of the Boston chains. It was charming and had a nice Spanish ambiance but not overdone at all. Genuine.
disappointing food...had hoped it would be tastier, but, unfortunately, this was not the case for all the dishes and drinks from the sangria to the mussels to eggplant, chicken, and the rest. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Excellent ambiance, good music, good food. Service was a little slow tonight despite it not being very busy. That aside, this is a great local spot to visit for good value and a tasty meal!
We were excited to have Paella. However, it tasted like stir fry, rather than a wonderful vegitarian Paella. We were disappointed. The appetizers and the ambiance was great.
