This small eatery may not have much to recommend it in terms of decor and atmosphere, but the food is absolutely delicious! While they seem to focus on enhancing the ambiance, what really shines here is the authentic Cuban cuisine, presented beautifully and at reasonable prices. Even if the place gets crowded with people eager to experience the flavors of Cuba, those who truly appreciate a great deal will find themselves enjoying fantastic food at prices slightly higher than fast food chains. Ended up here accidentally. We actually wanted to visit the place across the street, but they didn't have a patio open. Since day was sunny we wanted to sit outside and this place has patio. It doesn't look special. Cuba style, not fancy. A waitress was one cute, pregnant woman. We ordered some cuban coffee (very sweet, in my opinion perfect) and the waitress recommended jibarito. I have never tried jibarito before. After the first bite it became one of my favourite dishes! It is soooo good! So savoury! Delicious! Have to mention that I took jibarito with shrimps. I guess that those with meat are even better! I am gonna come back and try some other kind of jibarito! Highly recommend!
One of the best places I've been for a long time! When I went to the house, I was either greeted by the manager or owner, I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She made me feel at home and directed me in the right direction. When she presented with the menu, she could not recommend very good enough chicken jiberito... which turned out to be one of the best tasting sandwiches I ever had! It was made fresh and served on a curtain with green peppers, onions, garlic and a few other vegetables, along with a special sauce made of vinegar. Talk about a taste! Next, I order the empanadas after seeing a picture of it on the menu. I'm sure they taste delicious and fill. Don't wait to go back here!
Came here on a recommendation. The place is very colorful inside and out. Disappointed them not having the Mango piña cold but I can get that another day. Order a chicken empanda which was very flavorful and the sauce was exceptionally really good. I also order the steak sandwich which I accidentally forgot to ask without cheese but thank goodness I didn't. Steak was well marinated. Ordered a side of black beans and white rice. I enjoyed the food so much that I decided to go back and try something different. The Cuban rice was decent, but I've had better. I ordered the pulled pork, which was tasty but quite fatty. While I like pork for its richness, the amount of fat made it a bit tough to eat. Despite that, it was still really delicious. I recommend trying the empanadas—they're not like traditional Spanish empanadas, but they're really good!
We were out for a celebration, and we stumbled across this restaurant. My family and I had never tried Cuban food, so we were a little nervous about it, but we took a chance and went for it. All I have to say is that we don’t regret our decision, the food was AMAZING, and the service was the cherry on top, staff were patient and even explained what every dish had with such a great attitude! 100% RECOMMEND!!
Absolutely loved our date night here! It was the perfect spot to have dinner alfresco on a summer evening. The highlights: cute patio that is dog friendly refreshing drinks at great prices delicious food! the jibarito, cubano, and grilled shrimp were all delicious quick service and attentive staff our server had solid recs and didn't just list the whole menu for us
Awesome food First time eating Cuban food after hearing a lot a about it. Tried the Steak Jibarito and Yuca fries, it was an explosion of many tastes with the right amount of everything and different textures! Went with my family and got great service. This is a true hidden gem. Very homely feeling. Camarones appetizer was amazing. Tostones is an all time favorite. I had a pollo a la plancha which was a great portion and very tasty. I took a side of spicy sauce which added a good kick to the meal. Really enjoyed it.
